Bill's Medical Malpractice Unit has grown to become one of the largest writers of Professional Liability for physicians in Connecticut. The specialized department of Shoff Darby has been critical in helping physicians navigate through the tumultuous Connecticut malpractice environment.

A graduate of Suffield Academy and Providence College, Bill has achieved the prestigious designations CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and AAI (Accredited Advisor of Insurance) and is currently an AAI instruction. He is affiliated with the Connecticut Medical Group Management Association and sits on the advisor board for The Redwoods Group YMCA Insurance Program, which provides risk management guidance to 600 YMCAs throughout the United States.
